Exchange students


Application process for exchange students

1. Nomination by your home university

If you're interested in IAE Angers and your university is a partner of our school. Your home institution is to send a confirmation of your selection to the University of Angers International Welcome Office.

2. Acceptance by IAE Angers

IAE Angers receives your nomination from the Welcome Office and approves it if you meet the school requirements.

3. Registration

You will need to complete an online form sent by email during the application period.
You will receive a letter of acceptance from the University of Angers required to apply for a visa, if you are a non-European citizen.

 

Application period

Applications are open during the following periods :

  • 15 March - 1 June : for 1st semester or full-year mobilities (September – December / September – June)
  • 1 October - 1 November : for second semester mobility. (January – June)

 

Requirements

  • A B2 English level. No French level is required if you only attend classes taught in English.
  • As exchange students, a list of classes taught at IAE Angers must be approved by your university.
  • You must prove a sufficient level to attend management master's degree classes.

Once your application is approved on the ISEP application platform, you will complete an application form our service send by email during the application period.

BCI Program
Once your application is approved on the BCI platform and your home institution officially nominated you, you will complete an application form our service send by email during the application period.

 

 

 

Non-exchange students

Admission procedures vary according to your nationality, your country of residence, and the course and year of study you wish to apply for.

You are

  • You are a european student

    As a european student (one of the 27 countries of the EU, a country included in the EEA (EU + Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein), Switzerland, Monaco or Andorra) :

    > Application for Bachelor's degree in International Management (Year 3):

    • You must apply through the platform E-candidat during the application campaign period.

    > Application for Master's degree in Management and International Business (Year 1):

    • You must apply through the platform: monmaster.gouv.fr. It allows you to consult the offer of courses in the first year of the Master's program and also to apply for the courses of your choice, according to a single national calendar.

    > Application for Master's degree in International Management and Marketing or International Human Resources Management (Year 2):

    • You must apply through the platform E-candidat during the application campaign period.
  • You are a non-EU foreign national, living in France

    If you are an international student (Non-EU), living in France, here is the admission process:

    > Application for Bachelor's degree in International Management (Year 3):

    • You must apply through the platform E-candidat during the application campaign period.

    > Application for Master's degree in Management and International Business (Year 1):

    • You must apply through the platform: monmaster.gouv.fr. It allows you to consult the offer of courses in the first year of the Master's program and also to apply for the courses of your choice, according to a single national calendar.

    > Application for Master's degree in International Management and Marketing or International Human Resources Management (Year 2):

    • You must apply through the platform E-candidat during the application campaign period.
  • You reside in one of the countries using the Etudes en France procedure

    You reside in one of the countries using the Etudes en France procedure from the list below?

    If  you hold a foreign diploma, you must apply through the Études en France application on the Campus France platform.
    Log on to ”nameofcountryinFrench”.campusfrance.org (example: www.algerie.campusfrance.org) and follow the instructions.

    2024-2025 deadlines:
    You must apply to your Campus France space on the dates indicated via the online application "Études en France".

  • You reside in a non european country that does not apply the Etudes en France procedure

    > Application for Bachelor's degree in International Management (Year 3):

    > Application for Master's degree in Management and International Business (Year 1):

General requirements

Before applying, make sure you have the necessary prerequisites for your chosen diploma.

 

  • For the Bachelor degree (year 3)

Application is possible after the successful completion of two years of University course work (120 ECTS credits) or validated equivalence and of the Score IAE Message (SIM) test.

Students must justificate an English level proficiency (B2 level).

 

  • For the Master 1 in Management and International Business (Year 1)

All students who successfully complete the third year of Bachelor degree in International Management automatically qualify for the first year in Management and International Business. 

Direct entry on the M1 level is possible for candidates who provide a Bachelor degree or any other diploma with an equivalent of 180 ECTS. 
Applicants must prove an English language proficiency and certify by submitting a language certificate such as TOEFL or TOEIC.
Citizens  of  Anglo-Saxon  countries  do  not  have  to provide evidence of language proficiency.

 

  • For the Master 2 degrees in international management (Year 2)

The programme is open to applications from undergraduate students (bac + 4) in Management, Law, Psychology, Sociology. Applicants must have skills in management (training and / or experience). 

They also must prove an English language proficiency and certify it by submitting a language certificate such as TOEFL or TOEIC.
Citizens  of  Anglo-Saxon  countries  do  not  have  to provide evidence of language proficiency.

 

Documents required

While applying, you will be asked to provide with several documents like:

  • All previous transcripts of records
  • All previous diplomas
  • A resume
  • A cover letter
  • A proof of language proficiency (minimum of B2 level in English if you attend English classes and minimum of B2 level in French if you attend French classes)
  • Any proof of a professional background
  • SIM test score (or a certificate stating that you do not have a test center nearby)
