Bachelor degree in International Management
Objectives of the programme
The International Management programme is a one-year undergraduate programme offered by IAE Angers, the University of Angers' management school.
This general programme aims to prepare students for major business functions (financial, marketing, HR) providing them with a fundamental management knowledge.
It seeks to develop international business skills as well as to increase foreign languages proficiency. The programme also prepares students for a future international mobility as they will be given many opportunities during their Master's degree. For example : a dual degree training with Nicolaus Copernicus University (Poland). IAE Angers also signed many agreements with European partners (Finland, Spain, Italy, Germany etc.) and non European (Brazil).
After the third-year (L3) International Management degree, students automatically qualify for an International Management master's degree at IAE Angers.
With courses taught in English and classes given by lecturers from international partner universities, this study programme has a strong international focus. Two foreign languages are compulsory and a third one is optional but recommended.
Content
This one-year programme is divided into 2 semesters and offers both cross-disciplinary and specific skills : foreign languages, IT, business law, financial diagnosis, marketing, taxation, human resources management, project management, business game, etc.)
The academic training is 612 hours (lectures for 264 hours and seminars for 348 hours).
This programme includes a compulsory internship (8 weeks minimum) in France or abroad.
Eligibilty
The third-year of bachelor's degree admission is highly selective.
Application is possible after the successful completion of two years of University course work (120 ECTS credits) or validated equivalence and of the Score IAE Message (SIM) test.
Students must justificate an English level proficiency (B2 level).
French students, non-exchange international students and international students non affected by the "Etudes en France" procedure must apply through e-Candidat platform.
Non-exchange International students affected by the "Etudes en France" procedure must apply through Campus France platform.
Exchange students must go through their institution to be nominated.
Tuition fees
Following the publication of Decree No. 2026-385 of 19 May 2026 on tuition fees applicable to international students, the University of Angers will implement the measures set out in this decree from the 2026–2027 academic year.
The University will implement all the measures set out in the decree, including the possibilities for exemption.
The University of Angers’ Board of Governors will review and approve the details of how these measures will be applied, including the criteria, procedures and scope for exemptions, in early July 2026.
